Leverage — Where Your Effort Pays
Prompting Media That Sounds Like You — and Claims Nothing You Cannot Stand Behind
The four shapes this workflow takes, why the platform rules differ, and the clause that stops a render inventing a guarantee you never made.
The failure mode is not a bad video
It is a *good-looking* video that says something untrue.
Render tools are trained on marketing. Ask one for a promo and it will happily give you "100% satisfaction guaranteed", "trusted by thousands", "results in 24 hours" — none of which you said, all of which are now on your profile with your logo under them.
In your trade that is not just embarrassing. A guarantee you did not make is a guarantee a customer can hold you to.
So every prompt you write ends with the same clause, and it is not optional:
> Claim nothing I have not told you. No timescales, no percentages, no guarantees, no awards, no customer counts.
Four shapes the same workflow takes
Once the reel workflow is in your hands, the same order — draft, then render — covers most of what you would otherwise pay someone for. Named, so you know what is possible:
Platform-tailored posts. One job description, four sets of words. The rules differ more than people expect: Google Business Profile and Facebook take no hashtags — they read as spam there — while Instagram wants 5-8 on a new line and TikTok 3-5 mixing niche with broad. Same photo, same job, four different jobs for the words. Ask for all four from one description and paste each where it belongs.
A seasonal promo. The reel shape with a different opening: not a specific job, but the reason someone needs the service *now*. "Gutters before the rain" lands in September the way "gutter cleaning" never lands in March.
A good review, turned into a post. You already answer reviews. A good one, answered well, is a post — thank the customer without naming them, restate the specific thing they were happy with, and never quote the review word for word. They wrote a review, not a testimonial for your marketing.
The before-and-after sitting on your phone. The reel from the last lesson. Best job of the month.
Each of those is the same two-tool order with a different opening shot. The template card gives you the reel prompt in full; the others are variations on it once you have run one.
Making the render sound like your company
Three levers, in order of how much they matter:
Shot structure. Problem → work → result, from the same angle. Every reel you make in this shape looks like it came from the same company, because it did. Inconsistent structure reads as inconsistent business.
The end card, fixed and verbatim. Same wording every time: business name, service, city, call to action. Do not let the tool improvise it. Improvised end cards are where invented guarantees appear.
Your words, not its words. Everything readable on screen came out of a draft you read. The render tool places text; it does not author it.
What to check before it posts
Short list, every time:
- Any claim you did not make? Delete the whole clip and re-render — do not talk yourself into it
- House number, licence plate, or face in any frame?
- Customer named, or a review quoted verbatim?
- Right platform, right rules — hashtags where they belong and nowhere else?
The first one is the one that costs money. The second is the one that costs trust.
Before you rely on any of this commercially — read the terms yourself
We read Skywork's published Terms of Service on 18 August 2026. The document is dated 23 September 2025 and is served at static-s3.skyworkcdn.com/.../TermsService.html (the /terms page renders client-side and returns no readable text). Terms change. Read them yourself before your first commercial post, and re-read them when you renew.
What that document says, and what it does not:
The output is yours. *"The ownership, title and interest in and to the AI content generated by Skywork (the 'Output'), including, without limitation, all intellectual property rights (if any) contained therein, belong to you."* That is unambiguous, and it is the good news.
But the service licence in the same document is for "personal, non-commercial use". The grant reads: *"a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, worldwide right and license to access and use the Service solely for your personal, non-commercial use."* We searched the whole document for a paid-plan carve-out and found none — the subscription sections cover billing, renewal and free trials only. Third-party write-ups claim paid plans include commercial rights; we could not confirm that from the terms, so treat it as unconfirmed and ask Skywork directly before you post business marketing made with it. This is the single most important thing on this page.
What you give up by uploading. Content you upload grants Skywork *"an unrestricted, assignable, sublicensable, irrevocable, royalty-free license throughout the universe to reproduce, distribute, publicly display... create derivative works from"* it. Those are your customers' homes. Decide deliberately.
Could not ask — not addressed anywhere in that document: republication of Output as a distinct permission; bundled music, stock footage or template assets and what licence attaches to them; and whether any credit to Skywork is required when you post. If your reel uses music or stock the tool supplied, we cannot tell you from the terms what you are allowed to do with it. Ask before you use it, not after.
What is ours, and what is yours. The prompt template card, the caption structures and the worked example on this site are DevForge Academy's, and you are welcome to use them in your own business. Skywork's name, logo and marketing assets are Skywork's — we do not reproduce them here, and nothing on this page is a Skywork product or endorsed by them. Anything you generate is governed by their terms, not ours.
The discipline, which is short
Drafted where you can read it. Rendered where you cannot edit it. Checked by you before it goes anywhere.
The tools will change. The order does not.

*That is the freebie, and it is a real one — do that once and you will have a reel your competitors do not.*
*When you want the rest of it — the cadence that keeps it going without you thinking about it, the prompt set for the services you actually sell, and the bid work wired into the same pipeline — [call me](https://devforgeacademy.com/consultation). That part I do with you, not at you.*
